Your account
A Canoryn account lets you publish documents to canoryn.app and carries your plan. Everything else in the app works without one. Since 0.6.1.
Signing in
Open Settings › Account and choose Sign In (or Create Account). Canoryn opens canoryn.app in your browser:
- If you are already signed in there, choose Continue as your account, or Use another account.
- If you chose Create Account while signed in to the site, you can create a new account or use the one you have.
Confirm, and the browser hands the Mac a one-time code. Canoryn exchanges it for a session kept in your Keychain; no password is stored in the app.
The Account page
- You — your name and email, and Manage on canoryn.app.
- Plan — your plan with a Verified tag. The app trusts a plan only from a signed entitlement; the tag shows whether it is verified, being checked, or not verified, and ↻ checks again.
- This Mac — the name this Mac shows under your account, and a link to manage your devices. A Mac removed on the website stays removed.
Signing out
Sign Out on the Account page (or in the sidebar's account menu) ends the session on this Mac. Your documents and chats stay on the Mac; published pages stay online until you unpublish them.
More than one account
Signing in with a second account keeps both. Only then does the account menu show the other account to switch to. A published page remembers which account published it, and the Share panel offers to switch if it was another one.
