Privacy

The app

Canoryn is a native macOS app. Your chats, files, workflows, documents and settings are stored on your Mac. We don't run analytics or telemetry in the app, and we don't receive your prompts, files or screen.

• AI providers you choose. When you use a cloud model (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google), the app sends your request straight from your Mac to that provider with your own key. Their privacy policy applies to that request. Local models (for example Ollama or LM Studio) never leave your Mac.
• API keys are kept in your macOS Keychain.
• Updates. The app checks GitHub for new releases, so GitHub sees your IP address and app version when it does.
• Things you ask it to do. If you ask the agent to open a website, call an API or push to GitHub, those services see that traffic as they would from any app. Anything risky asks for your permission first.

This website

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on canoryn.app. We keep only what a feature needs:

• Your account (if you sign in): your email address, name and avatar from Google sign-in, and your profile. Stored with Supabase, our database host.
• Purchases: your license and its status, the amount and currency, and the order reference. Card details are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record; we never see or store them.
• Support messages you send us, with the email address you give.
• What you publish: workflows or pages you choose to share are public, with your display name.

Cookies are used only to keep you signed in. Your light or dark choice is saved in your browser, not sent to us.

Who else processes it

• Supabase (database and sign-in)
• Cloudflare (hosting; it sees request logs such as IP addresses)
• Paddle (payments, tax and invoices)
• Google (only if you sign in with Google)
• GitHub (release downloads and update checks)

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account data stays while you have an account. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. Support messages are kept for up to two years.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything tied to it, by writing to support@canoryn.app. We answer within 30 days. This applies wherever you live, including under the GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

Children

Canoryn isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and its date. For a significant change we'll tell account holders by email.
